Fraternity recruitment (rush) is an opportunity for Virginia Tech students to take a close look at our fraternity and to ask questions regarding fraternity life. It is an informal process of meeting and getting acquainted with members of our chapter.
Virginia Tech fraternities rush officially twice a year, once in spring and once in fall. The process takes about two weeks. During this time, we host several activities and events as meet-n-greets which we use to get to know our potential candidates, as well as offer them a chance to learn all about FIJI. These rush events are tons of fun, and include everything from poker tournaments, pickup sports games, trips to the shooting range, and some good old fashioned BBQ’s.
If you have questions or comments concerning rush, please contact our rush chairs, Joseph Ciemniecki and Clark Bowring.
